All tours are operated rain or shine. Some of our guides prefer the typical July short 5 minute rain for photography, wildlife sightings, and excitement  (just like camping!) for the kids.   In case of rainy weather (the high country in our area dose not have (rain) like most places our guests come from, in fact, every tour will have sunshine - our climate is very dry and our most important recommendation is to drink more water to avoid dehydration in the high country.  

 We appreciate and require reservations when possible so we can schedule the number of drivers and tour vehicles. In our 75 years we believe that we've never charged a cancellation fee because we realize that things can change and events can happen that cause cancellations and/or rescheduling. We've always ask that if necessary  please do so at your earliest convenience - when you become sure cancellation or rescheduling is necessary.  We appreciate that you let us know at the latest, the day before for regular group reservations - if possible.  COVID-19 caused an increase in guests preferring private reservations. (Note: If you have a private reservation and do not cancel until the day of the tour the driver and truck would be reserved for you to the exclusion of others seeking our tours possibly mandating that amounts could not be refunded.)

• camera or phone
• layered clothing 
• sunglasses 

Absolutely, we offer free pick-ups and drop-offs to all Ouray hotels and local properties, please call to confirm pick up after booking online!
