All tours are operated rain or shine. Some of our guides prefer the typical July short 5 minute rain for photography, wildlife sightings, and excitement  (just like camping!) for the kids.   In case of rainy weather (the high country in our area dose not have (rain) like most places our guests come from, in fact, every tour will have sunshine - our climate is very dry and our most important recommendation is to drink more water to avoid dehydration in the high country.  

In our 80+ years of giving  jeep tours, we believe we've never charged a cancellation fee because we realize that things can change and events can arise that require cancellation and/or rescheduling. Reservations are important because we schedule drivers and vehicles based on the number of guests who plan to join us. We understand that unexpected things can happen, but we ask that you only reserve when you are confident you can attend.

If you do need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know as soon as possible. For private tours, advance notice is especially important because a driver and vehicle are reserved specifically for your group. .

We ask that you bring:

• sunscreen or hat
• camera or phone
• layered clothing 
• sunglasses 

Absolutely, we offer free pick-ups and drop-offs to all Ouray hotels and local properties, please call to confirm pick up after booking online!

The most scenic routes change daily, our guides know current conditions and will curate a tour with all the sights you want to see for that day!
